Our 2006 family Christmas card generated so much response, including a number of people who have approach me about designing cards, invitations and photo gifts. So I have decided to launch my own design business. I have been scrapbooking digitally since 2005 and I am now a Photoshop junkie! I would describe my style as simple contemporary and sometimes a bit artsy.
So why would you want custom designs when there are so many retailers that will print photo cards and gifts? My custom creations are guaranteed to be unique. I know we received a few duplicate Christmas cards this year - different pictures, but the same design - how frustrating for the sender to spend all of that time selecting just the right card and then receive the same design in the mail from someone else. With a custom design you will make a lasting impression.
